在1999年的Guinea，兩名青少年 Yaguine Koita 和Fod Tounkara因為忍受不了他們與同胞在非洲所受的痛苦，決定偷渡到比利時，他們身上帶著出生證明、照片、成績單以及一封訴說他們處境的信。信的第一段提到
"...we write this letter to speak to you about the objective of our journey and suffering of us, the children and young people in africa."
但不幸的是，他們由於過冷，在飛行途中被凍死
